Iñaki González Zambrano has emphasised the need for UD Las Palmas to approach Sunday's match at Ipurua with a winning mentality. The Canary Islands midfielder, who spoke to the media ahead of the clash with Eibar, acknowledged the difficulty of the venue but insisted the team is prepared to fight for the three points.

The yellow team, tenth in the table with 10 points, visits an Eibar side that is second and arrives on a run of five consecutive victories. "This league doesn't care about the matches you win or lose. Anyone can beat anyone. Éibar is very strong at home." González said.

The player, who has been accumulating minutes and growing since last season, thanked his teammates for their support in a highly competitive midfield. Names like Sergio Ruiz, Kirian Rodríguez and Enzo Loiodice have helped him improve his positioning and match rhythm. The confidence of the coaching staff is also a key pillar in his development. González has accumulated 87 minutes in the last two matchdays, a reflection of his progress.

UD Las Palmas arrives after a home defeat to Burgos (1-2) and aims to get back on track at a tough ground. The team is looking for its second win in the last five matches. In the last meeting between the two, on 29th March, Eibar won 3-1. The team's top scorer this season is T. Miyashiro, with two goals in six appearances.

The next fixture after the trip to Ipurua will be the home match against Racing de Santander at Gran Canaria. The match kicks off this Sunday, 27th September, at 16:30 UTC.
