UD Las Palmas has announced the signing of Adrián Aguirre as the new physical trainer of the first team. The 32-year-old Catalan coach joins from Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia and has experience at FC Barcelona.

Adrián Aguirre is a coach with an ascending trajectory, who started his career at CE Europa and later passed through Terrassa FC before gaining his first international experience at Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia.

The arrival of Aguirre brings to UD Las Palmas a profile formed in the methodology of FC Barcelona, with experience in the development of young players and in elite football after his time at one of the most powerful teams in Saudi Arabia. UD Las Palmas is currently in 5th place in Segunda División, with 73 points, 20 wins, 13 draws, and 9 losses in 42 games, and a goal difference of +17, having scored 57 goals and conceded 40.
